Our History
Roy Ward II started working in the drywall industry in 1976 when he was 16. After a few years of stocking drywall, he transitioned to hanging drywall which then grew into the successful business today. As a kid, Roy had the aspiration of one day becoming a professional baseball player. He always told himself, “I’m Pro”. Knowing that he was one of the well-experienced drywall contractors in the region, he used this personal motto to create the name “Impro Drywall”.
Family Ties
When Jerrad took over the company in 2024, he knew he wanted to uphold the reputation and quality of his father’s business while expanding into new opportunities. He is excited to build on his father’s legacy and craftsmanship by forming new relationships with South Florida builders and introducing a new generation of skilled designers to the industry.
